The Moagut

Our farm is a traditional estate from 1950, nestled in the nature of the sunny Mariapfarr in the Salzburg Lungau. Here you will find a place where nature, animals and people live together in harmony, and where small adventures become something truly special.

Moagut invites you to experience farm life up close. Children discover animals, meadows, forests and streams. Adults enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh mountain air and the particular warmth of our family-run business. Around Moagut, cycling routes, hiking trails, mountain lakes and cosy spots to linger await you.
In winter, the Lungau reveals its quiet and sparkling side. The snow-covered landscape offers ideal conditions for skiing, tobogganing, cross-country skiing and shared winter adventures.

Whether summer or winter – at our farm, memories are made that last. Our garden, the Lungau nature and the homely atmosphere of our farm create space to arrive, feel at home and recharge.

Rooms / Holiday apartment at Moagut

Our spacious holiday apartment with five rooms and views of the greenery is ideal for families looking for peace, nature and many small adventures. Enjoy an entire floor for yourselves: flexibly bookable and always exclusive to your group.

Your retreat for relaxation and well-being

At Moagut, you stay on your own floor of the house. Here you will find five lovingly furnished rooms, a shared kitchen with full equipment including a dishwasher, and a dining room. Together, they form your apartment.

The rooms can be booked individually or together, depending on your group size. No matter how many rooms you use: the apartment is always exclusively yours.
No sharing with other guests, no through traffic. A place to have breakfast together, cook, relax and unwind.

All rooms are bright and comfortably furnished and have a shower, toilet, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and balcony.

Around the house, you can enjoy sweeping views of nature, plenty of peace and quiet, and enough space for playing, exploring and relaxing. Our large adventure garden with a trampoline and play area invites children to small adventures, while adults can enjoy relaxed moments outdoors.

In summer, wide cycling paths, green alpine meadows, clear streams, mountain lakes and varied hiking trails invite you to enjoy nature with all your senses. Mountain biking, horse riding, climbing or leisurely family hikes ensure that every day remains easy, varied and relaxed.

In winter, the Lungau reveals itself as peaceful and powerful. Family-friendly ski resorts such as Fanningberg or Großeck Speiereck can be reached in just a few minutes. And for those looking for even more altitude, speed or action, Obertauern is only around 22 minutes away. Skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking or a horse-drawn sleigh ride make the snow-covered mountain world a special experience for young and old.
